While it has become very evident that Apple with its iPad2 has become the winner of 2011 in the Tablet market, now it’s time for exploring the new launches of 2012.
We have already heard much hypes about the Asus’s new launch the Transformer Prime which will run using the most powerful Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and Apple’s iPad 3 which is expected to be a 3D Tablet. However, Samsung being the main player in the mobile phone and Tablet PC sector has not yet officially confirmed any new releases for next year.
Boy Genius Report, has unveiled an exciting news that Samsung is planning for a new 11.6 inch Tablet with a retina display to compete with Apple in 2012. This new display technology was earlier promised by Apple to be implemented in its iPhone and iPad. Whoever adapts it first would gain more support from Tablet gaming and multimedia fans.
BGR mentions that the information has been learnt from a trusted source which further adds that Samsung has planned to launch this new Tablet during the Mobile World Congress in February 2012. Also the device will run using Google’s recently launched Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS. Other features might include- dual-core Exynos 5250, 2GHz processor, Android Beam for easy media sync and special docking mode for gaming on HD televisions.
