NEC launches LaVie Touch– Windows powered Tablet

Yet another addition to Tablet market with Windows platform. NEC announced LaVie Touch, windows Tablet. This Tablet runs on Windows 7 Home premium operating system. Not much waited though, still holds some value for those who are crazy about Windows experience. To begin with, this Tablet comes with DVD drive and Wireless keyboard as add-ons.

LaVie Touch will be rolled out in Japan market by next month. When this is the situation we have got few specifications which might help you in getting prepared and not to be surprised at the time of release.

LaVie Touch has 10.1 inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1200×800 pixels. The Tablet memory capacity is 2GB which can be extended up to 64GB with the help of SSD. Connectivity options are taken care well which is includes Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1 EDR options in the Tablet.

Moreover, Intel SM 35 ATOM processor with a speed is set to 1.5 GHz adds more value to the Tablet. Apart from these features, it also holds a 1.3MP camera which may not be really powerful but still meets the basic requirement of the Tablet. The thickness of the Tablet is 15.8mm which is thicker than most of the AndroidView definition in a new window powered Tablets and weighs around 729 grams.
