Asus to debut Padfone in MWC 2012

Asus has been in the news for a while with its word’s first Tegra3 powered Tablet Asus EeePad Transformer Prime. Now as Asus mentioned or promised earlier, the Phone Tablet combo “Padfone” will be showcased in the upcoming Mobile World Congress.

I am pretty much excited to go hands on with the new combination. Aren’t you? So far, we have seen numerous Tablets in the market and we have never seen or heard about the combination of Tablet and Phone and Asus again takes the opportunity to be the first among the Tablet makers to give the consumers something very new.

Though Modaco reports this as official, we need to wait till 27th February to see the announcement coming true.

Earlier, we heard that Padfone will also feature NVIDIA Tegra3 processor and now there are some insights that, Padfone will run on AndroidView definition in a new window ICS OS. Once again it makes to remember the Transformer Prime.

Padfone will have a 10.1 inch Touch screen with a 4.3 inch slot to fit in the smartphone. Having the smart phone as well as Tablet in the same shell gains importance because, the phone can power the Tablet with the processor and in turn the Tablet will discharge power to the phone.

It seems, as and when the battery charge is drained, we can use the phone as a Tablet for sometime. We need to be patient to know the pricing details and availability announcements from Asus.
